This open letter is organised by members of the RCN Students Committee who are nursing students and newly qualified nurses from across the UK. We are responsible for the information you provide when you sign.
We collect your name, role or experience, and any optional information you choose to provide. This information is used to record signatures and reflect the range of people supporting the letter.
We process your information with your consent.
You choose how your signature is displayed. Depending on the option you select, your name and role may appear in full, in part, or anonymously. If you choose to sign anonymously, your signature will still be counted but your personal details will not be published.

It is used only in connection with this campaign and may be included with the open letter when it is sent to Duncan Burton, the CNO for England, and NHS England. It will not be sold, used for marketing or used for any unrelated purpose.
We will keep your information only for as long as the campaign remains active and will delete it within three months of the campaign ending.
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your information, or to withdraw your consent or signature, by emailing contact@futureofnursing.uk. If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
